As we prepare to welcome our newest CBC Gentlemen, it's important that we have the most up-to-date information to help us understand your son and support his individual needs.

Our aim is to ensure that every boy's transition into the College is welcoming and positive, so he feels confident and supported from his very first day at CBC Fremantle.

If there are any changes to your contact details or other information relating to your son, please contact the Registrar, Emma Polain, at enrol@cbcfremantle.wa.edu.au.

Lumina – Gifted & Talented Program

Grounded in our Catholic and Edmund Rice tradition, Lumina is a specialised enrichment program for high-potential learners whose gifts and interests extend beyond the mainstream classroom.

Rather than providing acceleration or extension within core subjects, Lumina operates through dedicated Religious Education and Wellbeing learning time. Students engage deeply with ethics, philosophy, and religious education as they progress through the Ignite, Illuminate, Inspire pathway, allowing them to discover their strengths and grow as innovative, community-minded leaders.

In Ignite, they are exposed to foundational big questions designed to spark their imagination, challenge their thinking, and awaken their innate curiosity.

As they transition into Illuminate, the focus shifts to shining a light on deeper, more complex concepts, encouraging students to critically evaluate theological and ethical dilemmas.

Finally, in Inspire, students are challenged to connect these highly developed ideas to the wider community—transforming their knowledge into action by leading with empathy, fostering social justice, and making a meaningful, positive impact in the spirit of the Edmund Rice tradition
