Over 60s enjoy a special treat

Over 60s enjoy a special treat

Mr Kenny with members of the Old Boys' Association committee

The more senior members of the CBC brotherhood gathered in the College staffroom on Thursday for a special Over 60s' morning tea.

More than 100 Old Boys and their partners attended the reunion, with representatives from the Class of 1942 through to 1971 present.

CBC's Communications and Marketing Coordinator, Ms Cherie Butcher, spoke to the guests about the inaugural Old Boys' Peru Immersion, which took place in April this year with 10 alumni devoting two weeks providing service to people in need in Lima.

The President of the Old Boys' Association, Mr Terry Iannello, thanked Mr Shaun Kenny for his support and commitment to the activities and initiatives of the committee, and wished him well for the next step in his EREA journey.

Year 11 students assisted in serving the food and drinks as the Old Boys enjoyed the morning tea, which was sponsored by John Hughes who graduated from CBC in 1952.
